"Vagalume, O Verde" was created directly in the region of Horto, in Jardim Botânico, a neighborhood that has historical and cultural relevance in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Seeking to revive childhood memories, when carnival blocks united their community with magic and fantasy every year, with a special look at sustainability. In this sense, the block reuses materials to create its banners and costumes, and plants seedlings to neutralize its CO2 emissions.
