Founded in 1986 after an interview given by Tom Jobim, in which the composer blamed the armpit of " Cristo Redentor" for the mold in the cupboards of his house, "Suvaco de Cristo" is one of the most traditional blocks in the city and makes revelers happy on Rua Jardim Botânico, "right under the right arm of Christ.
