The block was created from the will to celebrate two important city assets: the street carnival and the beauty of Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas (Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon). Since 2003, the "Spanta" is known for combining fun with organization, good music, beautiful people, and a view that makes any carioca proud. Each year, "Spanta Neném" has grown and become one of the main blocks in the city, offering a carnival with safety, cleanliness, tranquility, and a lot of joy. The party is such that it has already given its name to one of the most exciting music festivals in the city.
