What started as "Mau Mau's" pagode (bad maude) in a bar on Bragança Paulista street, in 1997, soon grew and took to the streets of Rio de Janeiro for the first time the following year. Today, the "Mau Mau" block is well known in Bangu and has a board of 10 people.
