The bloco emerged in October 2013 from a magical experience of a group formed by the restlessness and desire to celebrate in the Street Carnival. The purpose of the bloco is to research, promote, revive, and recreate the culture and struggle of Afro-Bahian blocos, from its genesis in samba-reggae in the 1970s and 80s, to its transformation and explosion in the 90s with axé music. Agytoê is a group relationship of unique intensity and beauty! From the mythical and ancient culture of Egypt comes the golden inspiration that led us to Bahia and the themes and repertoires of the band. From Rio de Janeiro comes the sex appeal and the setting of this encounter. The bloco is scheduled to parade in the center on 02/03/25, with concentration starting at 16:00 and dispersal at 22:00.
